BIG NEWS !!!!! We have a REAL Practice space!!!!!!

I have some big news to tell everyone……….

Our Tackle Director Ben Clark and I have been working on getting us green grass to practice on for months, or you could maybe say YEARS. We have been moving around the County since this league was created. The areas we have practiced have been numerous.

On Monday a meeting took place between Ben Clark, State Representative Thad Altman, County Commissioner Mary Bolin, Brevard County employee Jeff Whitehead and myself. Well, I am pleased to announce we have a SOLID practice space reserved for our use.

Starting Monday, August 27th, we will be practicing on the soccer fields at Viera Regional Park. The SOUTHERN most fields. These are field numbers 8 & 9. The fields we used the first two weeks of practice are fields 1 & 2. These are NOT the fields we will be using.

Space Coast Soccer has devised a new practice schedule just to allow for our usage. They should be commended on their flexibility in making room for the use of these multi-purpose fields.

But there is a twist to this as we will have to change our schedule slightly. Right now we practice Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We will have to change our practice schedule to Monday, Tuesday and WEDSNESDAY. The times will remain the same.

I apologize to everyone if the Wednesday night practice is a problem. But this was the only way to make this work. Thursday is a huge night for soccer practice and it would require a lot more effort on there part to move around 2000 kids then for us to just move our practice day up one night.

This space is large enough to have everyone in one spot. Tackle, cheer and flag. But everyone needs to understand we have this location ONLY on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. No other days.

Once again thanks to everyone for there patience in this process but we have finally reached a final resting point in our adventure to find green grass.
