SVYFL NFL FLAG is Brevard County's premier youth flag football league, providing a fun, safe, and inclusive experience for more than 450 athletes each year. Our non-contact format follows official NFL FLAG rules and gives every player the opportunity to throw, catch, run, and contribute. Parents love the positive atmosphere, and players enjoy the excitement of football without the physical demands of tackle football. We focus on participation, skill development, and creating the classic backyard football experience in an organized league setting.
League Information
SVYFL NFL FLAG is open to boys and girls of all skill levels. Players are placed into divisions based on their age as of the previous August 1st. Age groups include 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, and 14U, with teams typically consisting of nine players. Games are played on six NFL FLAG-compliant fields at Viera Regional Park. To ensure a safe environment for all participants, every coach and committee member completes a background check and fingerprint screening.

Our mission is simple: get every player on the field, teach the game of football, and have fun. The Fall season runs from mid-August through early November, while the Winter season runs from mid-January through the end of February, allowing athletes to stay active between other sports seasons. Whether your child is brand new to football or looking to improve their skills, SVYFL NFL FLAG provides an exciting and supportive environment to learn and compete.
